Active damping is designed to keep the operating speed of the centrifuge far from the critical speed of the rotating system (high-speed centrifuges generally design critical speeds far below the operating speed). In addition, dynamic balancing must be performed during rotor machining. Passive damping is the separation of possible vibrations from the frame and foundation with various types of dampers.
      Rubber dampers generally meet the vibration reduction requirements of high-speed centrifuges. In the case where the structure of the damper has been determined, the greater the rubber hardness, the higher the critical speed of the system. The damper with too low hardness cannot meet the requirements and is easily damaged.
      Generally in the centrifuge design, active damping and passive damping are simultaneously applied to high-speed centrifuges, generally can be divided into three parts to consider vibration reduction:
      (1) Designing the spindle bearing housing into a flexible damping type;
      (2) The entire drive system is flexibly coupled to the frame.
      (3) flexible connection between the main shaft and the motor;
      When the high-speed centrifuge is turned on, we have to check his speed to see if it is in the range corresponding to the rotor speed. Of course, if there is any looseness of the rotor parts, how is the line connected? Check the work before starting the normal connection. If he has abnormal jitter or sound, then we have to stop immediately for inspection, and we must make a corresponding record. Before the centrifuge is used, we have to adjust the brakes. If the rotor of the centrifuge exceeds the speed when it is rotating, it needs to be shut down. When the rotor is running, we can't disassemble and adjust it.
